Activity Report

The iMaterna Foundation is dedicated to the development of clinical research in maternal-fetal and neonatal medicine, providing project funding, researcher training, methodological and statistical support, and establishing multicenter collaborative networks.

During 2024, the foundation organized multiple specialized courses including fetal monitoring, updates on placental insufficiency and preeclampsia, as well as developing free online courses aimed at both professionals and the general public. It actively participated in research studies such as PREVAL-DECREASE on preterm preeclampsia prediction, SARA on aspirin efficacy in pregnant women with SARS-CoV-2, and PREMOM for universal preeclampsia screening validation.

The foundation published important scientific articles on preeclampsia screening methods and validation of machine learning models for prenatal prediction. It maintains strategic collaborations with more than 15 national and international hospital centers, universities such as Francisco de Vitoria and Complutense of Madrid, and organizations like the Fetal Medicine Foundation of the United Kingdom, consolidating its position as a reference in maternal-fetal research.
